We had a lovely stay at the pub, especially enjoying the spacious family room. The kids loved the beach, just a short walk away, with stunning views of Dunstanburgh Castle. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, accommodating our dietary requests perfectly.
My kids wished there were more options for breakfast. Maybe some fridges in the room for snacks would help families!

Cozy spot with great service
We spent 2 nights here and it was pretty nice! The location is perfect for exploring the Northumberland coast. The room was comfy, but housekeeping could be better since we didn’t get fresh towels. Breakfast was yum, and I loved the bar area. Just a bummer the onsite restaurant was closed during our stay.

The breakfast was a highlight, with a fantastic selection to start the day. the shower was a bit on the smaller side, which could be improved.

The quirky decor added a charming touch, making it feel like a cozy cottage. The easy access to the ground floor was lovely for those of us needing a bit of extra care to navigate.
More comfortable seating in common areas would help.

The twin room was comfortable, cosy, and immaculate, complete with a spacious ensuite bathroom. Its location offered stunning views and easy access to a beautiful beach. breakfast was underwhelming, with too few options that didn't meet our expectations for a continental spread.

During my weekend stay, I was delighted to find easy access to beautiful Craster Beach just a short stroll away, and the vibrant Low Newton-by-the-Sea was only a quick walk from the inn, making my city strolls all the more enjoyable.

Target audience seeking a simple stay
The place has its charm. The breakfast was cooked perfectly, full English like you'd expect, and the poached eggs were spot on fragrant with flavor. We stayed there while attending a wedding nearby and the staff greeted us like family.
It wasn't exactly affordable, but it was decent for the stay.
